We are a small, family-owned and operated business that has been in business for over 10 years and is certainly qualified to serve your computer and technical book needs. Nerdbooks.com fulfills orders for books from our warehouse location in Richardson, Texas. And, although we don't get the opportunity to meet face-to-face, our aim is to serve you just as well.

Frequently Asked Questions
I only see "in stock" items when browsing the subjects. Why?
At this time, we do not accept orders or money for out-of-stock items. Customers browsing by subject categories often are not sure of what they want to buy but do want books shipped immediately. We therefore only show you those that are in stock when searching in this manner.
Should you wish to see all the books in our database, including out-of-stock items, please try searching by title, author, or publisher ... or some combination of keywords in these fields.
Do you accept special orders?
Yes. Please contact us with any titles you could not find by searching. We will do our best to help you obtain the desired book(s) in the shortest time possible. We encourage you to contact us with exceptionally large orders as well; oftentimes, special arrangements may need to be made for transportation or payment.
Do you ship Internationally?
Unfortunately we do not ship internationally at this time. We will eventually, however, so please don't forget about us!
What is the status of my order?
Immediately after we receive your order, we send you an automated email confirmation. This simply tells you that we successfully received your order. Then, once your book(s) is in a box - usually less than 20 minutes later - you will receive a second automated email providing a link to the tracking information. Anytime after ordering, you may Log In and proceed to the "Me, Myself, and I" section on the Home Page and see the status of your order(s).
Do you accept Purchase Orders?

Do you have an Affiliate Program?
Not at this time. By offering 5% - 15% commission to an affiliate, we cannot give our customers the very best discounts. We hope that world-class service, selection, and great pricing are the reasons people tell others about nerdbooks.com.
Does your site show Quantities On Hand in real-time?
Yes. If, for example, the Book Details page shows four copies in stock of a particular book and you then purchase a single copy online, our site will immediately afterwards show three copies in stock.
May I order on the web and pick the book(s) up at your warehouse?
Yes you can, please call and talk to us first about this OR you can type the following three things into the "Comments" box on the last page of your shopping cart:
- Please DO NOT ship books
- Please delete my shipping charges.
- I will be in today to pick up my books.
We will usually have your books ready for pickup within 20 minutes of the order being placed.
Do you price match?
No. But, this is a question that is probably more appropriately asked of our competitors! In most instances, our pricing/discounting is far better than that of other online booksellers. When one compares our stocking levels - especially of highly technical books - AND our discounts to that of others, we win 95% of the time.
What is your return policy?
Contact us within 30 days of the date of purchase, and we will issue a Return Authorization Number provided the product you bought is in its original condition and any CDROMs are unopened. At that time, we will also provide our return address.
